Talenti Argo Wood
Architects Ludovica + Roberto Palomba drew inspiration from a wooden box for the design of Argo. The deep seating pieces showcase rigorous lines, playful geometric flourishes, and voluminous padded cushions. The outdoor dining collection is distinguished by playful geometric flourishes and an innovative use of materials.
The centerpiece of Argo is a modular sofa which can take a variety of exciting forms that combine decorative design with function. Large lateral waistbands of resilient Accoya wood enclose an abundance of thickly padded cushions that promise endless relaxation, all while contributing to the designer's vision. This inspiration continues throughout the rest of the collection, where geometric flourishes invite additional contemplation. The Argo Living Chair and Loveseat make innovative use of synthetic nautical rope to envelop deep cushions propped up by outward-curving legs, while the coffee tables communicate rigid lines through their angled legs. Even the Sunbed, with its abundant cushions and linear legs, follows the inspiration of a box, albeit in an indulgent leisurely fashion.
Rigorous lines and alternating angled legs characterize the collection's four dining tables, which range in size to accommodate any occasion, be it an intimate dinner for two or a garden party of ten. Choose a light natural finish for a refined look or opt for the dramatic rich hues of the Palissandro selection, confident that both options enjoy the stability and resistance that comes with Accoya wood.Â
Accoya wood also forms the base of the collection's dining chairs, but this rigidity disappears into the softness of enveloping cushions and the embrace of a nautical rope weaving. This thoughtful use of materials not only conveys a sophistication of design, but also provides a level of comfort that encourages leisurely meals and long conversations that continue long after the plates have been cleared.
