POINT Heritage
The Heritage collection from POINT is designer Mario Ruiz's aesthetic homecoming to the design principles and handiwork practiced by the company's original craftsmen a hundred years ago.
“I have an image of the artisans in the 1920s in Alicante working with wicker and creating POINT’s first furniture. That’s where its soul was born. Even today, it’s still inspiring,” says Ruiz.
This legacy of intricate hand weaving is the foundational theme that expresses itself in the dining collection with chairs that have a soft and rounded silhouette to create a harmonious yet informal presence.
All the pieces are made from an aluminum frame with a woven technical fiber outer body. The dining chairs include cushions with a quick-dry foam core that optionally can be lined with a protective casing for increased water resistance. The bottom of each cushion is left open to encourage quick drying and improve breathability. We have a selection of Tuvatextil (Spain) fabrics available; Group 1 features good oil repellency and Group 2 is extra water repellent.
The dining and lounge tables have your choice of teak, HPL high-pressure laminate, or porcelain top.
