Inspired by the style and music of a 1920's riverboat cruise, Charleston has the sophistication and freedom of a rousing dance number. Woven in Shintotex wicker, this dining armchair has an ornate silhouette that unfurls scroll-like until the seat rolls back underneath itself. A geometric diamond pattern and cruciform ticking around the edges of the frame highlight the amount of detail and texture that went into the design.
Designer Alfonso Gallego states: "The biggest challenge in creating this bold, elegant collection was to adapt the structures and fabric to the fiber with which the piece is covered”. The chair is woven in Shintotex, a highly resistant recyclable fiber developed by POINT.
The warmth of a teak-top dining table from our Paralel Dining collection will resonate with the toasted finish of Charleston's wicker.
