Gloster Block

Minimalist in its design, modern in its looks, but functional in its use—Gloster's Block. Need a stool, side table, or coffee table? Block will do all that for you. It will blend into another piece of teak outdoor furniture or act as an eye-catching accessory when staged with more contemporary pieces made from stainless steel, powder-coated aluminum, wicker, or refreshing outdoor rope.

The solid Block is made from natural end-grain* teak, meaning each piece of wood is cut across growth rings, exposing the unique character of its rings and graining. The heavyweight guarantees a stable surface to sit on or set down your hors d'oeuvres and cocktail.

*Note: Visible cracks on the exposed end grain of timber components are normal. The end grain is the part of the timber where the growth rings are exposed. Although Gloster aims to keep the presence of end grain to a minimum to reduce the risk of splits and cracks, it is sometimes inherent in the design of this product. In Block items, Gloster makes a feature of the end grain. As the timber is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, small cracks will open in the end grain. This will not affect the product's strength, performance or life expectancy. In fully exposed positions, the cracks will appear quite quickly and be deeper. In covered locations, the cracks will be less visible.
