Frankford Aurora

Aurora is a premium cantilever patio umbrella that has been designed for commercial use but also thrives in residential settings. It is slightly smaller and lighter than our Eclipse Cantilever, but offers the same exceptional properties such as 360° rotation infinity tilt for maximizing protection from the sun and light rain.

Several features increase the strength, durability, and enjoyment of Aurora. The mast is made from corrosion-resistant, marine-grade aluminum with an elegant silver matte finish. Aurora's canopy is sewn from beautiful 9 oz. marine-grade, solution-dyed acrylic fiber instead of the market's standard of only 8 oz., which often tends to stretch over time and sag. Additionally, Aurora is equipped with wind stabilizer bars, which brace ribs with the center mast for additional stability in low to moderate wind conditions*. The canvas is attached to the ribs with a grommet and pin system.

There are other standard features that make Aurora unique and your choice for the outdoors, e.g. a smooth crank lift, infinity tilt system, extruded aluminum mast and joints, single vent and a protective cover. The crank is removable, which our commercial customers or families with kids will appreciate.

For those customers searching for a patio umbrella with lights, you may order the optional, rechargeable LED light bars. Two or three should be sufficient for ambient lighting whereas one attached to every other rib will give you lots of light.

A note for commercial clients: Frankford umbrella components are designed to stand up to daily wear and tear over a period of years. Metal hardware and parts are constructed out of stainless steel. Components are largely user-replaceable, substantially lengthening the life of umbrellas (typically 4-6 years of heavy usage) as failed components can be swapped out instead of replacing the entire umbrella.

For warranty reasons, we recommend professional installation of Aurora by a licensed contractor; plus, mounting/ base options are mandatory for this cantilever umbrella.
