Shipping & Delivery
Your order's estimated time of arrival (ETA) is determined by stock availability, production times, shipping destination and delivery service schedules. Many of our products drop ship directly from the manufacturer. Drop shipments may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same shipment.
We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. We regret that we cannot ship to foreign countries.

STANDARD DELIVERY (small shipments)
Most home accessories and gift items—whether drop shipped from the supplier or sent from our Seattle warehouse—are delivered via UPS standard ground service or similar, with signature required. Expedited UPS shipping is available for most gifts and accessories for an additional charge. Contact us for information.
FREIGHT DELIVERY (oversize shipments)
Delivery of large items—outdoor, upholstered and hardwood furniture—is contracted out to a professional freight carrier. A scheduling agent will contact you 1-2 days before the estimated delivery date to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
The type of service included with delivery varies depending upon the product and destination. Read below for more information.
Residential Delivery If you request delivery to a residential address, please note that the truck will arrive with just one driver, so you may need to arrange to have someone on hand to help unload the shipment. The driver is not responsible for unpacking, assembling or placing home furnishings, or for clearing away boxes or pallets. If these are services you need, please contact us for a price quote for "white glove" delivery.
Inside Delivery (Indoor Upholstered & Hardwood Furniture) We specify "inside delivery" service for all indoor furniture, as well as some of our bulkier, pre-assembled outdoor furniture pieces. "Inside Delivery" means that the driver will take the shipment inside the garage or first dry area only, not up stairs or into a specific room.
If your upholstered or hardwood furniture order shows up and the driver refuses to move the shipment beyond the curb, tell him or her that inside delivery was specified. If the driver does not cooperate, please call us immediately, while the driver is still there—sometimes there's been a miscommunication between the driver and dispatcher.
Curbside Delivery (Outdoor Furniture) Most of our outdoor furniture is delivered "curbside," which means that the driver will unload the shipment at the end of your driveway or the entryway of your apartment building. Items difficult to move from the truck may require your assistance. Occasionally, drivers will offer to take boxes to your door or garage, but they should not be expected to do so.
Hard-to-Reach Destinations: Let us know at the time you place your order if you live on a narrow or winding road that may be difficult for a full-size truck to navigate. The freight company may need to switch to a smaller truck, and advance notice will save you a lot of time and make delivery go more smoothly.
FREE FREIGHT
We offer free shipping to destinations within the contiguous 48 states for all of our products. Refer to the "Freight Delivery" section above for more information about the type of delivery service included with this offer. Upgrades to "white glove" delivery service will incur a shipping charge. Contact us for a price quote and availability for your shipping address.
SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Whenever possible, we ship orders complete. Because we drop ship so many of our products directly from different manufacturers, your order may arrive in multiple shipments.
Occasionally an item will be out of stock at the time you place your order. If you've ordered multiple items, and if one or more of those items is out of stock, we will either (1) hold the order to ship complete or (2) send the available item(s) immediately, with the balance to follow when new stock arrives—it all depends upon the estimated availability date of the back ordered piece(s).
Split Shipments of Large Items (Freight Delivery) All of our indoor and outdoor furniture drop ships directly from the manufacturer warehouse or workshop. Whenever possible, orders are shipped complete.
Note: If you've ordered multiple pieces of indoor furniture to be upholstered in your own fabric, our workshop will not begin production until ALL of the fabric has been received. If one or more of your fabrics is on back order, production will be delayed until the fabric is received.
If you have ordered multiple pieces of outdoor furniture from a single supplier, and if at least one of the pieces is on back order and not due to become available for a period longer than two weeks, then we will ship the available items to you immediately, with the back-ordered portion of your order to ship once it becomes available. If the supplier estimates the back ordered piece(s) will become available within two weeks of your order date, then we will hold the entire order to ship complete.
Note: For many of our outdoor furniture collections, cushions are custom made to order, not stocked by the supplier. If you order optional seat cushions for outdoor dining chairs or loungers, and if the estimated lead time for the cushions is longer than two weeks, we may ship the chairs or loungers immediately, with the cushions to follow in a separate shipment.
Outdoor furniture sold with cushions included deep seating collections by Barlow Tyrie and Rausch, for example, will ship complete, with both frames and cushions, regardless of the estimated lead time.
INSPECTING YOUR SHIPMENT
While the driver is still there, inspect your shipment for damage, verify that the order is complete, and document any shortages or damage to the packaging on the freight bill. If in doubt, write “pending inspection” next to your signature. Shipments that are obviously damaged should be refused.
Please note that signing your name without any written comments is the equivalent of stating that your delivery arrived in perfect condition—and the carrier will not honor a damage claim. Call us immediately if your order arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing defect. Hang on to the packaging, too—you may need it to ship the bad piece back, or it may need to be inspected by a claims investigator.
UNPACKING & ASSEMBLY
You are responsible for unpacking and placing your shipment the driver will take it, fully packaged, inside the garage or first dry area only. In the case of "curbside delivery," the driver is only required to deliver curbside or to the end of your driveway. Most of our outdoor furniture requires minimal assembly, since many pieces ship "knocked-down" to reduce the risk of freight damage. (Don't worry, all you need to do is attach legs and arms. It's easy to do and won't require any extra tools.)

Below are estimated lead times for all of our products. Please note that any delivery or shipment time frame we provide is a good faith estimate only. Product availability may be limited and some items may not be available for immediate shipment. We will do everything we can to keep you updated with the information we are given by our suppliers and freight carriers.
